  • It’s not uncommon for toddlers to be “late talkers,” developing their language skills later than most of their peers. When provided with the right support, most children graduate from therapy and become confident, effective communicators. We want to see your child flourish just as much as you do! Providing the right support early is one of the most powerful gifts you can give your child. With families of toddlers, we make a special effort to educate and train parents and caregivers to support their child’s early communication development.

  • Some preschoolers have difficulty understanding what is said to them or expressing their ideas. They may be difficult to understand when they do speak. Many parents choose to address speech and language concerns during the preschool years. Therapy with preschoolers is creative, engaging, and tailored to the child’s interests and abilities. Our preschool age clients often greet us at the door, eager to see what books, toys, or games we will incorporate during their session.

  • Sometimes families come to us when a difficulty with articulation, language comprehension or expression, letter-sound awareness (crucial to reading), or social skills begins to affect life in and outside of the classroom. Our team of therapists has witnessed the miraculous potential children have to succeed at home and at school when they receive personalized support from a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

“I could not have asked for a better fit”

We’ve been very happy with Synapse Pediatric Therapy. Our therapist is professional, kind, and also takes the time to get to know our child on their level. My son literally waits at the door in anticipation of her arrival. Being a first time parent with a child with a speech delay, I could not have asked for a better fit for us.
