Kathleen Zintsmaster, OTR, MOT

Occupational Therapist

Kathleen is passionate about helping children gain confidence, independence, and skills required to complete new functional tasks, whether related to school, home, or play skills. She utilizes a holistic client-centered approach to occupational therapy, which allows her to truly “see” and support the whole child during her sessions. Kathleen is thoughtful in first assessing what her clients need to increase or maintain a regulated, ready-to-learn state - and then determines therapy activities that are “just right” for them. She enjoys incorporating play into treatment sessions, because she knows that play is how kids learn best!

Aside from work, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, especially going on long walks by the lake. She also loves hiking, traveling, being outside year-round, reading, yoga, lifting weights, swimming, good food and walking to coffee & tea shops. Kathleen is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and utilizes her knowledge of human anatomy and yoga postures to support her clients in increasing their balance, body awareness, and sensory motor skills.
