Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist

Synapse Pediatric Therapy is seeking a creative, dedicated, and reliable Speech Language Pathologist to join our mobile speech therapy practice. No weekend hours required.

In this role, you will evaluate and treat children with speech, language, and fluency disorders in their homes, preschools, and private school settings. A normal day of work would include between 6 and 8 one-on-one therapy sessions, conducted in the child’s natural environment.


  • Evaluate and treat a range communication disorders
  • Document daily notes, progress reports, and evaluation reports with plans of care
  • Update patient progress to relevant parties
  • Travel between locations within approximately a 5 miles radius of Evanston, IL


  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current Illinois SLP License
  • Valid Drivers License + Reliable Vehicle
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and patient demeanor


  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • 3+ years pediatric speech-language pathology experience
